Mahjong, 2019

Mahjong consists of 144 tiles, stacked and shuffled around with intricate rules. Growing up in a family centric household, the adults were always playing this game to pass time. The loud sound of the tiles crashing together is cemented in my memories of this game. As my grandma tried to teach me this game, I created this series in an effort to document my learning and to connect more with her.
